UCAS · UK

Line

Done with my visa application. The interview was good, though the interviewer kept whistling and singing songs and looking out the window. I don’t know what was up with that.

It takes about 3 weeks for the visa to arrive. Unlike the US visa application, where they tell you immediately whether or not you’ve got the visa after the interview, for the UK visa, you have to wait till your passport arrives by post. So, by the first week of August, I should know.

Tomorrow’s the pre-departure briefing by the consultancy agency. The last step is finished, officially, and it’s now the last 100 meters before the finish line. You can even see the ribbon tied to the two poles, across the path.

The IELTS Scholarship candidates are still yet to be shortlisted for the 2nd round, so I’m waiting for that, too. The word comes out on the 21st.

This waiting is going to drive me nuts. Again.
